CHI- Town!

I was in Chicago all last week for our annual Coverings Tradeshow! As always I had a great time hanging with my work friends. We had a huge event on Wednesday night for our grand opening of our newest showroom in downtown Chicago. We do nothing on the light side in Fiandre land... we had crazy models holding tile, a fun DJ, Graniti-Tinis and lots of great Italian food....

One night I had my distributor Best Tile to the showroom for a meeting after the show. Graziano wanted to do a toast b/c they ROCKED last year and still are!

Easter Weekend

The parentals came to visit Drew and I for Easter. We were actually supposed to be in TN visiting my dad and Sara but we were so tired of traveling the last 3 weekends we postponed our trip. Good thing my daddy understands me and was totally understanding...whew! It was so nice to be at home. We rented movies, worked in the yard, Mom cooked dinner, and we had a yummy Easter brunch at High Cotton on Sunday. We are so blessed to have such amazing families.

My Easter treat from Drew! I am so anal and everything in our house has a "place". Drew looked forever and couldn't find the Easter baskets! haha! Instead I got a Chinese take-out box. He is so sweet and I love him and the Chinese box!


I did have a basket for him along with 2 pink bows tied on the sides! I think they go well with the sports themed eggs!

The dogs stayed outside b/c we had Emma Sue in town. She is a very nasty, mean girl to her nephews.

And this is where Emma Sue spent Easter weekend. Dead on the couch!

And just for kicks. This is Drew and Brent watching the final bball game the other night. They have since decided Greenville is lacking a good sports bar in the burbs and they plan on opening one. OK!

Brent and Whitney got hitched!

Our good friends Brent and Whitney got married 2 weekends ago in Greeneville, TN!

Brent and Drew have been great buds for several years.

Meanwhile Brent becomes Clarice's other husband.

Drew is not a handyman, Brent is a handyman, plus carpenter, plus boat mechanic, plus, plus.

Brent and Whitney and Clarice and Drew hang out and have lots O fun.

Brent asks Drew to be a groomsman.

Clarice and Drew throw fun shower during the Superbowl.

Drew and Clarice drive to Greeneville in the equivalent of a small hurricane Katrina.

Drew packs ONE pair of khaki pants.

Clarice irons Drew's pants and realizes the whole ARRSS is ripped out of them.

Drew finds a Belk and is back to hotel in 20 mins flat.

Drew eats like he hasn't seen food in years and is covered from head to toe in cornish game hen.

Drew realizes and comes back to hotel to do a quick costume change.

Drew also had job of usher and candle lighter.

Drew almost sets him self on fire.

Wedding was beautiful, pictures are on my "nice camera" and have not been downloaded, reception was tons of fun, pictures taken with different camera and are below
