We are going to HAWAII!!!

We are soooo excited!!! Drew and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary in Maui!!! We leave July 21 for 10 nights!!! You only have your first anniversary one time so we are celebrating big... flying first class, staying in 2 fabulous resorts, and taking off work for 2 weeks. It doesn't get much better than this! Life is GOOD!!!

EASTER

We drove to Atlanta on Saturday to spend Easter with Drew's family. As always, we had a great time! Helen and I got our nails done, Drew and Maddie went shopping, and we all went to Taco Mac for dinner and to watch basketball. On Sunday we went to a great service and then had a wonderful lunch cooked by Helen with the Darrah's- Mike, Lisa, Bless, and Briggs. The adorable Lillian and Riley Anderson from across the street stopped by in their cute dresses to say hello. Drew and I hid eggs filled with money (they are to old for the boring stuff) for the kids :) The Easter Bunny even came to see us old folks! Enjoy the pictures of our blessed day...

The start of our Easter weekend...

My parentals came to visit last week for a few nights. I have been BEGGING them to come help Drew and I in the backyard and around the pool. My one complaint about this house is the pool looks like it should be at a Motel 6 and not in our backyard. They previous owners had ZERO taste so it was pretty naked out there! I have been buying pool furniture for 6 months and have been dying to get it around the pool for the "finished" look. The parentals love to work in the yard... Drew and I HATE it! I had off on Friday so we spent a couple of days working the yard. It was 70 degrees here so it was perfect!

St. Paddy's Day Fun!

One thing I love about Greenville is that they always have fun things going on downtown. On Monday we celebrated St. Paddy's Day in the streets of downtown Greenville. There were bagpipers, dancers, and most of all Retro Vertigo... my favorite 80s band in G-ville!

Dusty and Kristen's wedding

I left Girl's Weekend a night early b/c Drew and I had Dusty and Kristen's wedding on Saturday night in Clemson. Being that I was going on zero sleep I took a LONG nap when I got home and we missed the ceremony.. we are so tacky! Drew was happy b/c we stopped off at the Eso Club in Clemson and watched the end of the Clemson BBall game... they won!!! Dusty's reception was lots of fun! They had the best 80s band!!! My favorite!

Girl's Weekend!

Every year my girlfriends in Knoxville get together for a "Girl's Cabin Weekend". This was our 3rd year! We had so much fun catching up, playing goofy drinking games, learning way too much about each other in the "Never have I ever" game..ha!, and eating way too much yummy food! I am so lucky to be blessed with such great friends!

Drew's Birthday Weekend!

We celebrated Drew's birthday ALL weekend! On Friday night we had some friends and neighbors over for apps, drinks, and Drew's favorite vanilla bean Cheesecake Factory cheesecake (did you know they will Fed Ex you a cheesecake??? It's a small fortune but well worth it!). On Saturday we had dinner with our good friends Brent and Whitney. Brent was in from Ft. Worth, TX so it was fun to see him. After, we all met Jeff and Caroline who were in from Mt. Pleasant, SC. at our house for drinks and a little Wii bowling and boxing. The pictures say it all. Drew's mans room has become Franky's Fun park with all his toys now. As you can see I have spoiled him even more by surprising him with a 52 inch TV he has been wanting for his birthday! I lucked out too on this one b/c I got to get a new armoire for his old TV! Its the red one in the slide show.. love me some PotteryBarn!

Tyrone Cawood... Idiot DOG!

Tyrone has no sense! He jumped in the pool yesterday. It is 50 degrees outside! He has yet to jump in the pool until yesterday.. for some reason he has been a nervous wreck about it. I think him seeing his own reflection freaks him out. The neighbors brought over their dog to play yesterday and Tyrone decided to show off. The dumb dog has been in and out of the pool now for 2 days... He is an Olympic swimmer! Drew has about died over the whole ordeal. I think it is hysterical and he is very upset about the thought of a dog in our pool. Apparently the pool people told him one dog is like 40 people swimming. We swim in the lake for goodness sakes... Anyone want to come visit and swim with Tyrone????


Dumb dog #2. We got a new rug on Friday for my new kitchen table. Tyrone was fascinated by the long cardboard tube the rug was wrapped around. He played with this tube fore 3 hours. Hilarious!

Happy 34th Birthday Drew! I love you TONS! I am sorry I was out of town and missed celebrating with you today. I cannot wait to celebrate tomorrow! I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Party on Friday!!!

Kirsten's Wedding- Austin, TX

My cousin Kirsten (bridesmaid in our wedding) got married this past weekend in Austin, TX. She had it at Salt Lick- wonderful BBQue place and great atmosphere. We had a great time while in Austin- saw St. Edwards Univ. and Univ. of TX. My dad graduated from St. Eds and both my mom and dad got their Masters degrees at UT. It was neat to see where they went to school! We had a great time catching up with the family as always!
