Our baby girl is 6 months old!

I cannot believe our Sloane turned 6 months old yesterday!!! I truly cannot believe how much time has flown by. We love her to pieces and could just about eat her up!

Sloane loves swimming and puts her whole face under! She is going to be an Olympian for sure :)

The girl has a social calendar...

Drew and I laugh that now we have Sloane we have no social life. Not true, but not near the extreme we use to have-- trips galore, dinner with friends, hanging downtown, etc. Sloane however is not even 6 months old and has already been invited to 3 birthday parties (one more already on the calendar)! We went to her friend Garrison's 1st birthday party a couple weeks ago. The theme was Thomas the Train and Garrison's Mom Tanya didn't leave a thing out. They had it at huge park near our house that has a real train that goes through the park. They had a DJ (yes you heard me) dressed as a train conductor (then Elmo the train conductor). She did adorable party favors, table decorations, and cupcakes. I told her she could plan Sloane's first birthday. It has 900 degrees outside but Sloane still had a blast.

We have a nanny so Sloane has little interaction with kiddos. We discovered at this party that she LOVES kids. She went crazy when she saw them. I felt like a terrible Mom for not having her around kids much. I didn't know at 5 months they cared. I am taking care of that and have already planned a play group in July and am going to do Gymboree with my girlfriend and her daughter Sloan (yep two Sloanes!) starting soon!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to my very sweet husband! Sloane is so lucky to have a Daddy that loves her so much. It melts my heart to see the way he looks at her and vise versa. She truly is a Daddy's girl. Happy Father's Day as well to my 2 dads and the best Father-in-law too! We love you all and are so blessed to have you in our lives....

Wild Dunes 2010

We just went to Wild Dunes, SC with my family. First half of the week with my parents and my sweet Grandmother and the second half of the week my brother, his girlfriend, and her daughter Sage. We had a blast! Sloane LOVED the ocean and the sand!!! We got to spend time with our friends that live there so that was fun too. We had some great meals out and on our last night we had a party and a low country boil. Here are some pictures my brother took. Mine are.. well still on the camera.
