Beach trip!

We went to Wild Dunes over Memorial Day and I never posted my pics. We had a great time with my parents and grandmother the first half of the week and my brother and his girlfriend and her daughter the second half. We also got to visit with our good friends that live there! Here are the pics in no order what so ever...

It is crazy to look back at these pictures b/c she has grown so much in just 2 months. We will be back at the beach in August and I just know she will be eating sand and drinking pool water like crazy!

July 4th photo shoot- delayed!

I ordered Miss Crazy Hair an adorable tutu for July 4. Well it came yesterday! Ordered it a month ago.. thank you slow making tutu lady! I had all intentions of taking pictures of her in it and making a July 4th photo card for the fam. I am now thinking my card will read.. hope you had a nice July 4! ugh! Needless to say I still wanted to take some pics. They turned out cute I thought, Drew said they were ridiculous! Men!

A Girl and her Daddy

Sloane and her Daddy have the sweetest relationship. She has ended up in our bed a lot lately b/c she has decided 2 and 5am are good times to wake up. I usually toss her in our bed at the 5am time slot. When she wakes up in the morning (7am) she rolls over and sees her Daddy and it makes her day. She gets so excited when she sees him. "Oh goody my daddy is in here". It's almost like she hasn't seen him in days. The other morning he was snoring away and I ran to put my contacts in and when I came back in our room she was just staring at him and smiling away. Sometimes she will just rub his arm and just glare at him. She loves her daddy so much and it truly melts my heart. They do spend a lot of time together when I am on trips and I just remind Drew when it gets tough that he is getting what so many dads don't get. The best QT with his daughter! These pictures were taken Father's Day 2010 and for some reason I never posted them.

She really cannot be 1/2 a year!

I still cannot believe Sloane is already 6 months and now a 1 week old. Time flies way to fast. I did a little photo shoot with her for her 6 month birthday. Too bad she was really tired. For her 6 month b-day she has gone from sleeping through the night since 6 week old to waking up 2 times a night. YAY! Ugh! No wonder she looks tired :) The dress she is wearing was a gift from my friend Betsy- thanks Betsy!!!

Her 6 month doc visit. She was so cold so they gave her this gown to wear. She immediately started eating it so of course my germ hating self took it away!

Right before her shots! She did so much better this time. She only screamed for 3 minutes instead of 15 minutes. So nice for Mommy and Daddy too.

July 4th!

We had a great July 4 this year with our family. Pops, GiGi, Aunt Maddie, and Cousin Izzie (the dog) came to visit. We had a low country boil one night and Drew smoked a pork butt on July 4. The pork butt was quite the joke around the house b/c last weekend he thought he was smoking a pork butt but instead the smoker wasn't hot enough and we had a rotten raw butt. Drew perfected it this weekend and it was oh so yummy!

We had a blast swimming all weekend! The girls all connected floating away...

The water baby. She will put her whole face in the water and laugh. She loves to swim on her back too. I have a feeling she will be swimming before she can walk :)

The dogs even got to have some fun. Typical- Jack with a ball and Tyrone with a bone!

Tyrone would hide in the plants to eat his bone and then come out of no where and jump in the pool. He is about like Sloane- loves to swim!

Sloane loved little Izzie. Izzie on the other hand didn't really care for being pinched and hit by Sloane.

Notice Drew's shirt. He was just a LITTLE excited about South Carolina winning the national championship in baseball. He went out and bought a shirt the day after they won!

More pool time. Yes poor Drew has to wear ear plugs like a 5 year old. He gets swimmers ear (and the dogs too) all the time!
