The girl is WILD!!!

Sloane has become a very WILD CHILD since she has started crawling. I cannot believe she will be 11 months old next week! She is into anything and everything these days. I know... all kids are. I guess I am just trying to adjust to the whole- I will put a dirty shoe, dog food, gum wrapper, and God knows what else into my mouth if it is in front of me. Poor Drew has been "talked" to multiple times about leaving his change laying all around the house. She is very fond of quarters these days. Her 8, 9, and 10 month pictures are some what ridiculous. She still smiles on command but could care less to look at me for pictures. Most of those shots of are the back of her head. I am in absolute heaven even if I feel like pulling all my GREY hair out at times. Sloane is still such a happy baby. She has never met a stranger and will go to anyone. She waves to anyone she sees (including our dogs). She laughs out loud when we laugh and she screams if we aren't paying attention to her. She sleeps 12-13 hours a night but has chosen to bypass one nap. She is a one nap a day kind of gal. When she wakes up she just plays in her crib. It is heaven b/c I normally go in and get her instead of being woken up with a loud scream. On Saturday we slept until 8:30 and I looked on her monitor and she was "talking" to her lovies. We call her pigpen when she eats b/c she gets food everywhere! She is eating big people food now so it is a mess to say the least.

She loves to terrorize the dogs. She can say DOG and Dada!
I put her in the laundry basket the other night so I could fold clothes. Well she tipped it over in about 2 minutes flat!

We throw her in the bed with us most mornings while we wake up. She goes nuts. She loves to stand up in the bed. It isn't pretty.

see the candle on the left- yep she took a bite out of it last week

Drew's crocs are now outside with the dogs. Sloane loved to eat them.

Thinking about eating my camera lens cover

Forget pictures I am going to destroy my bookshelf

the one and only picture of her looking at me and her tongue is hanging out

this is what most of her pics look like

that sign lasted 1 minute
We feel totally blessed to have Sloane so don't get me wrong. I am just asking God why I got so lucky to get a crazy dog named Tyrone AND a now a crazy kid named Sloane. Just kidding! She is wonderful!

Beach Fun

We spent the week before Halloween at Wild Dunes so Drew could work the Nationwide Golf Tournament. I love this week! I work and he works but we still get to have fun at the beach.

Sloane visiting Daddy at work
not so sure about his ear piece

one day after our walk I put her in the sand to see what she would do. She loved it of course. I think at sandbox is in store for her 1st birthday!

I have yet to figure out my camera lighting for sunset pics.

one of my favorite pictures ever!

second favorite

My parents, Sloane, and I went to Magnolia Plantation one day.

Checking out the gators on our swamp tour. She loved the train ride!
We had a great time! Thanks to my parents for coming and keeping me company, cooking meals for the boys, and wining and dining me in Charleston. We love you bunches!!!!

Walkin' Fool

The only way to "contain" Sloane these days is to put her in her walker. She goes nuts when she gets in it. I have come close to losing all my toes anytime she is near me.

We take her in the long driveway and she goes straight for the street. Seriously Miss Sassy is beginning to make me very scared. 10 months old. What is 2, 5, 13 going to be like??? AHHHH!

Sloane's First Halloween!

Halloween was a little bittersweet this year. We were at the beach the entire week before Halloween and due to come home on Halloween. Sloane and I left that morning and Drew was hoping to leave by 3pm in order to be home at 6. The last day of the tournament is always crazy and he just couldn't leave. Poor Drew missed Sloane's first Halloween! I picked up my spirits and Sloane and I headed to my old neighborhood and trick-or-treated with my friends there. We ended up having a great time but we missed Daddy big time!

our sweet ladybug
she would yell and point to all the kids in the neighborhood like she was the boss
I cannot get her to sit still at all...

Pointing at me to quit taking pictures. SASSY!

My friend Lianna and her son Zac. I look like a whale and of course Sloane is pointing.
