Birth Announcement Photo Shoot Rejects!

I have tried on 2 different occasions to get cute pics of my baby girl for her birth announcement. It was a challenge to say the least, but I FINALLY got a few good pics. I'll post the final result once they go out! The rejects are...

Grandparents...we have many!!!

Drew and I always laughingly complain about having 4 sets of parents. It does make holidays interesting but when there is a grandbaby involved it is amazing. Sloane is so lucky to have 7 grandparents that absolutely love her! We had all of them at our house Saturday and Sunday. My Mom and Daddy Mike cooked a huge Italian meal, Sandy (Drew's mom) cooked a yummy cake. We had a great time visiting and passing Sloane back and forth. She only hurled on my dad so she was great :) I am going to put a framed picture on Sloane's nursery wall with her and all her grandparents....each set in a picture. I cannot wait to get the wall finished. Here are some of my favorite pictures. Oh and Aunt Madison came too and she is the BEST Aunt! She is sooo good with babies. I couldn't believe it considering she is the youngest of 4! The rest of Sloane's aunts and uncles better get their tails here soon to see her!

I love this picture of my Mom. She and Daddy Mike got to our house on 12/31 so they had to wait 24 hours until we brought her home. Here she is SPRINTING to the car to see her. So cute!

Nana came to the hospital to see Sloane. The birth parents were funny about it so after her visit we didn't allow any more visitors. Kind of stunk but what can you do :)

Pops loved his baby granddaughter so much. He has called me everyday to check on her. I love this man!!! You can tell he is a father of 4. A natural to say the least.

Nursery!

Finally I am posting my pictures of Sloane's nursery. I absolutely love how it turned out. Sloane likes to be right beside me so she has yet to spend anytime in her nursery yet (except for diaper changes). Her room is only steps from ours so I am thinking in a few weeks we will give her bed the old college try!

I cannot believe she is already a week plus! Inside of bedding...

These are the stuffed animals she has gotten from all her friends and family. Some go with books that my mom had back in her days as a principal. Tyrone will come upstairs sneak an animal and run like crazy through the house. He isn't even supposed to be upstairs but he LOVES Sloane and her animals :)

This nightlight has been a saving grace.

My good friend Laura gave me this chair and ottoman. THANK YOU LAURA!!! You girls were so right... I soooo need this! It normally has a cute blanket on top of it that kind of brings the room together. Not sure where it was :)
